THE HEMP COIN (€THC) is a new digital currency created for the Irish Hemp Industry.

HEMPCOIN is an initiative by the Irish Industrial Hemp Association (IIHA) and its members.

Hempcoin aims to follow the Bitcoin philosophy set out in a whitepaper by the mysterious and pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto.

Hempcoin offers the promise of ZERO transaction fees over traditional online payment mechanisms and is NOT operated by a central bank unlike government-issued currencies.
